The Winsor Wildbots is the Winsor School’s award-winning FTC team #13620, composed of students from grades 8-12. It was founded in 2017 with a mission to uplift gender minorities in STEM, and since its creation, the team has become an active part of the Winsor and FTC communities. FTC stands for the FIRST Tech Challenge by the organization FIRST, an international high school robotics competition. To optimize efficiency and encourage students to explore their interests in the multifaceted nature of STEM, the Winsor Wildbots have three sub-groups: building, coding, and business. This way, we can ensure that team members are prepared for careers in STEM beyond high school. We are so excited to share our progress with you!
